More true sim racing in BeamNG.drive with Cobalt Motorsports on BeamMP multiplayer! Tire wear physics, pit stops, dynamic weather with rain simulation, a SIMHUB radar style HUD, and adjusted time scale for short races with pit strategy and pre-race strategy. It's even possible to show and enforce flags, although for these quick public races there were no flags used.
First turn chaos was the trend with these short wheelbase rear engine race cars, as many people aren't very good with lift-off oversteer. In one race, it was to my benefit with crash evasions, and the other, I got collected in the big one and also rolled over. A new version of BeamMP netcode was used aiming to reduce lag rubberbanding, allowing people with a ping of ~200 to race side-by-side without wrecking others. The track is Trial Mountain from Gran Turismo. The public mod is currently broken in the most recent update, so hopefully the thread will be updated sooner or later with a fix.
