BEAMRIDER (ZX SPECTRUM)
3Zeus presents Breamrider (un-emulated) for the zx spectrum, a true classic from the golden era of spectrum gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1983
This game reminds me of a game I used to play called Gridrunner many years ago, the difference here is you are equipped with a laser to shoot the oncoming aliens and ships, you are also equipped with missiles which are used to shoot the mother ship at the top of the screen after you have eliminated all the aliens before.
Pretty fun to play as the sectors get more harder, faster and contain different aliens to keep the interest level up, not bad for 1983 at all.
