Hasbro has released new versions of the Beast Bots, this time called "Morphin Beast Bots" for the 6 inch action figure line. Previously, the Beast Bots had some features like the ability for Cruise to transform into a motorcycle. But now, the Beast Bots have the ability to transform into armor for the Power Rangers. Unfortunately, this wave only includes Jax and Cruise, and there will not be a figure of Smash or Steel, so it sucks to not have a complete team in this form. The set comes with the Beast Bot and the 6 inch action figure of the corresponding Power Ranger (exactly the same as the individual release). The Beast Bots are a mixed bag and Cruise is not the greatest, but overall it's a neat concept to have them become armor for the ranger. They also come with Morph-X Keys that look the same as previous releases, but have different sounds in the Beast-X Morpher. Overall, this really just depends upon if you've purchased any of the previous releases or not, as I don't think these are different enough to truly warrant another purchase.

UPDATE: I was informed that there actually is a set with the Blue Ranger and Smash. I’ve never seen that product anywhere but apparently it does exist. Either way, I don’t plan on getting it because of lack of time with a baby on the way. But I did want to issue my correction and note that in the description here.
