Well, I was able to finish this song on my CV1 without my tracking getting all fucky.

This is now my highest PP play. There's great room for improvement in this playthrough as well. I hit a 400 combo late in the song (the hard part) and i didn't do so well in the beginning. This is also my first time trying out a new grip, the R Grip (Rogdude Grip). I was able to get MUCH faster movement of the controller and I also found that i was able to reach the extremes MUCH easier. There's still a lot of practicing i need to do with this grip before i make it my main and I'd like to try some of the others out but I've realized recently that the first alternate grip I tried was the first one that I stuck with and I'm starting to realize that it's been holding me back.

I also think that I've figured out why my tracking is so spotty. I need some camera equipment to confirm it but I think I'm losing 3DoF due to the lights going out on my controller during super fast movements. It's a long story but these controllers saw HELL before I discovered Beat Saber. It predominately happens on only one hand which has further led me to this conclusion.

It's a tough call. Get used to the lighter, far more agile but less friendly to alternate grip Quest controllers or buy a new set of much heavier but FAR more controllable CV1 controllers. I feel like if i got myself accustomed to the quest controllers they would take me much further than the CV1's would. Plus the tracking doesn't fuck me in the ass as much on the quest as it does on the CV1.
