Beat Saber Mutiplayer - Oculus Quest 2

Oculus Quest 2
I am falling in love with Beat Saber all over again, Beat Games constantly find ways to keep me interested, just when my interest in the game is waning they come up with a brilliant addition to an already amazing VR experience, still one of the best out there and now you can play it with up to 4 friends or strangers.
I am in no way an expert at this game, hard-expert are my limitations so it is great to find that in the newly designed menu you can firstly create your own avatar and then select the level of difficulty you want to compete at. You are then presented with your lobby where as with all multiplayer games you can select which song you want to play or as i do, just go with the flow and select ready. In the lobby you can you can see the other players, wave at them, but unfortunately unless you are in party mode you cannot talk to one another, hopefully this will change in the near future.
Once the counter has reached zero you enter into the game screen, you can see all your competitors, their lanes radiate from the centre of the screen and as the song begins you can view their scores above their head, but why aren't you watching the cubes coming towards you? Your own score is there in front of you along with your placing in relation to your competitors, whichever player is currently leading will have their avatar shown playing the game in the centre, i guess we can now call it an arena.
You certainly feel a little bit of pressure when scores are close and the placings are constantly flicking between competitors, this can bring on unforced errors or break chains which leads to you falling down the placings. completely fail and you will view the remainder of the song from the grandstand, a really nice touch is being able to flick between the views of players, of course you can always quit and go back to lobby if you are the impatient type, but shame on you.
At the end the winners avatar is shown along with the scores of all competitors and their placing.
This is another brilliant addition to the game, i hope that voice chat is added at some stage. There is such a large base of Beat Saber players that i have never not been able to find competitors and there is a constant flow of new ones when others drop out making for very smooth and quick transitions between songs.
