Beat Zelda: A Link to the Past in Under Five Minutes (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo, there's a relatively simple glitch that allows you to beat the game in just a few minutes. And on this episode of A Wild Glitch Appears! I will show you how to beat Zelda real fast.
First, start a new file. I named my file KIRBY because I wanted to, but you can choose a worse name if you wish.
Secondly, play through the game like normal and make your way through the hidden palace entrance, obtain the sword and shield from your Uncle, and walk into the front door of the palace.
In this first room, walk up the stairs on the upper left (you can use another location to perform this glitch, but for simplicity I'm using this staircase as an example) and then walk to the gap between the railing and hop down from the ledge.
While you're in midair, press Select and choose Save and Quit. Now reload that same save file, and you should respawn at the checkpoint where you last saw your Uncle.
Now make your way back to the castle entrance without taking any damage. Back in this first room, you will walk up the steps on the northwest section of the room and head into the door on the left.
In the next room, you will be on an elevated walkway. Press up against the left wall and keep pressing Left on the D-Pad until the blue guard bumps into you (and continue holding Left while you're being damaged). Note that you can tap on the wall with your sword to get the guard's attention faster here.
Now if you've done everything properly, you'll be knocked into the wall and out of bounds. Great! You're almost there. Now simply walk up to the room to the north, and then again walk to the north into the even nexter room.
Here, you will see a room with two blue archers and a red guy with a lance. Walk to the right until you're in the bottom right corner of the room. If you go too far to the right, you will enter a dark room, but no big deal, just walk back to the room with the archers and lance guy. Once you're on the bottom right corner of the room with the arrow dudes and the spearman, hold Up on the D-Pad to walk north. Continue holding Up until you reach the triforce room, and you will have beaten the game!
Along the way on this last step, you will even pass by TWO Ganons which is kinda neat, and you might also see some glitched out half-rooms. But this is a great way to complete a super-quick speedrun of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES.
