Stumbled upon this game after seeing DdRMaSTeRDan post his run of Do My Thing [Resolve] and went on to try it myself, especially since the dev's giving away copies of the full game (once it releases) to the first 100 peeps to clear this level and post a link to their run! As you could probably guess from the run's contents, losing lives is okay and so is using Zen, an ability that slows stuff down for a bit. At the moment, including myself, there's three peeps on the list (https://www.beatbeatgame.com/free-copy ) so far sooooo yeah. Definitely recommend giving it a whirl if you like what you see, BeatBeat honestly takes a bit to get used to with the whole "platforming and rhythm" stuffs but once you do, it feels suuuuuuper satisfying. .u.
As for the run itself, you have no idea how tricky 1:07 was for me to do, I kept referencing DdRMaSTeRDan's run to memorize the arrow pattern at the very least so I wouldn't have to think about it much and once that was through, there was also 1:15 with its fast notes but the same "up left up right" pattern was kinda there and THEN I almost lost it from 5:30 onward but eventually recovereddddd, thank gudness. Still sloppy with the lives lost but if anything, it shows that if a scrub like me can do it, so can you!
