That last section is weird. It's so much more demanding than anything else, that it honestly feels like I'm a giant idiot who missed something.
Or they really felt like NOW was the time
Either way, BEEP is... well it's a ten year old game that honestly holds up alright. You can see the passage of time, but it works. It's fun to play and has things to do. Rare is the media that survives this long in an ever changing world.
But now, nostalgia is over. We have passed an old friend, but we cannot stay, for his land is one of forgotten days and lost hours, and staying there too long is a sunken cost fallacy with not even a possibility of a payoff.
Beware the past, for it can smother and kill more than the future ever will.
