In this beginners guide tutorial I show you how to install the new DayZ Horse Mod by HunterZ on your DayZ custom PC Community private server, including the mission files and the dependency, Survivor Animations.
To get the various wild horses spawning on your Servers map, and to get the associated loot (saddle, bridle, stable kit) we'll also be editing your servers types.xml, events.xml, cfgenvironment.xml, & cfgeventspawns.xml.
I explain how the wild horse territories files are needed, and how to rename them so that they can be referred to correctly by our edits.
To tame a wild horse you need to attract it with an apple, then if you place a bridle and a saddle on the horse, you can ride it around. Bridles and saddles can be found in farm areas.
