In this beginners guide to community server modding, I show you the files and code that control what and how much loot spawns inside the various back-packs, hiking bags, slings and assault-packs that are on your DayZ Community Server for PC, PlayStation & Xbox Consoles.

The two files we'll be looking at and editing in this video are the cfgspawnabletypes.xml & cfgrandompresets.xml, with a quick dip into types.xml for a class name to prevent spelling or syntax errors.
