Updated for 2024, in this introduction to my new-starters beginners guide tutorial to Modding DayZ Nitrado PC Custom Community Servers, I give you some details about the course & series of videos, and then explain why you might want to have your own DayZ PC Community Server, and some of the things you can do with it.

I explain some of the possible xml & json mods, and then we also take a look at the DayZ Steam Workshop and some of the PC mods I'll be showing you how to install on your new Community Custom Server.
