Behind the Memory, a first-person exploration game by GuraShop, came out a short while ago on PC. The title is available on itch.io and is currently on sale for 2.59€ (about $2.75 USD). However, the developer is pushing for a release on Steam as well through the Greenlight program.

The game plays like a mix of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture; You guide Hector as he returns to an empty place he once called his home. The more he explores, the more memories come back to him unveiling the secrets behind his past. He also happens to be a Chatty Kathy, and narrates out loud throughout the game.

The dev also warns that the game is on the shorter side, taking about an hour and a half to complete. The graphics look pretty good for an indie game and the hints of a darker story make Behind the Memory a little more, well, memorable.
