Joey Drew has invited us to the cartoon studio for a reason, but it is unclear why. Thus, it is important to understand what is going on at the studio before trying to figure out why Boris was revived at the end of Chapter 2.
Sammy Laurence gives us clues that we are invited to take part in some kind of rituals to give life to cartoons like Bendy and Alice Angel. However, Sammy appears to have a more selfish reason behind setting up these rituals. I think that he just wants to sacrifice Henry in order to turn his body back to normal.
The audio cassette tapes seem to provide the biggest hints towards why Boris was brought back to life... that is, if there is only one Boris. Also, it seems that other workers at Joey Drew's cartoon studio may have been affected by the clues provided by these tapes. As a result, I think Susie Campbell might have been trransformed into Angel Alice.
