Bermuda Syndrome is an Adventure/Jump&Run game made by Century Interactive and released by BMG Interactive around 1995

You play as Jack Thompson, a member of the US Air force and you were fighting in World War 2 aboard a fighting plane just before your plane was hit and fell into some kind of Bermuda Triangle. When you awake your plane crashlanded in some strange jungle and you are hanging in a tree but something is not right because in this jungle dinosaurs are running around.

The gameplay is very similar to classics like Flashback or Another World. You are walking from screen to screen and sometimes have to solve a puzzle because you can't just go and shoot your way out of every situation.

Bermuda Syndrome doesn't differ much from Flashback/Another World except that you interact a bit more with the environment. For example you have an inventory and also some actions like use/pickup or talk. Most of the time you are running around with that aztec princess and you can talk with her and sometimes you need her help to solve a puzzle.

And your knife is not only for fighting but can also be used to cut ropes or whatever but the solutions to a problem are always limited to one action so you can only do one thing.

The game can be hard sometimes but it is not that bad because you can save and load whenever you want so if you don't know how to get further or if you die because you did not see a trap you can just load and go on.

The controls are pretty simple and easy to use so I don't see a problem there.
