0I couldn't help myself; I found a classic NES emulator and a website chock-full of ROMS patched with English patches. We did Legacy of the Wizard tonight, aka Dragon Slayer IV, a family of heroes' dive into a dungeon riddled with traps and monsters. Each family member has pros and cons for exploring, and the goal is to find the dragon slayer sword and slay the waking dragon. I ALWAYS loved this game as a kid but never understood fully how to play. Now that I am older, I am hoping to dive back in and see what the game has to offer.
Mitsume ga Tooru is a cute platformer about a three-eyed guy trying to stop an invasion of the Three Eyed, some kind of evil beings. You purchase money to upgrade your powers as you go. I didn't get far as it was getting late, but I hope to revisit this game:

The final game of the night...is a CHINESE import of Pokemon Yellow FOR THE NES!!! I have to say, seeing Pokemon Yellow but in NES graphics was very interesting.
