Today we take a look at my top 5 Dynamic microphones for Twitch streaming. As many of you know, I'm a firm believer that dynamic mics are the absolute best for streaming due to their broadcasting background in Radio and broadcast applications. Starting with the SM7b from Shure, this mic is everything you could ever want in a microiphone. Incredible sound, build, and tune-able. It has a nice flat frequenecy response and it's range is the best of any dynamic on this list going from 50-20,000hz. Next up is the Electro-Voice RE20. This is probably my favorite mic on the list due to the sheer legacy behind it. The RE20 is THE radio mic. It's used in many pro=radio station applications (and even by Ninja). The frequency range isn't as wide as the SM7b, but it's still great at 45-18,000hz and has the absolute best rear rejection on the list. Coming in at number 3, is my personal mic and othe rfavorite, the Rode Procaster. Out of all the pro-level mics on this list the Procaster is the cheapest, but still one of the best sounding. The frequency response is 75-18,000hz and has arguably the best build quality of the entire list. It also has a trick up it's sleeve because of the internally shock mounted capsule and internal pop filter! Next up is the closest competition to the Procaster, the Electro-Voice RE320. This mic is the RE20's younger brother. Eveything we know and love about the RE20 applies here, except the response curve of the mic is a tad different. This mic favors the upper mid range for a nice vocal boost which alot of people favor for radio and broadcasting. The RE320 almost won my vote over the procaster when purchasing my mic, it's that good! Number 5 goes to the Shure SM57. This is the mic that started it all (alongside the SM58). The SM57 is the most legendary mic on the planet, and rightfully so with incredible sound, build, and rear rejection. It's used in radio stations, live stages, broadcasts, studios, etc. It's one of the best mics ever created, even to this day and only for $99! The runner up to this list is a relatively new mic from Blue, the enCore 200. I personally own and use this mic on this very channel, and it's an absolute pleasure! It has a different capsule design that uses 48v phantom power to activate the capsule, while retaining the properties of a dynamic! It didnt quite get into the top 5 due to the sheer fact the other mics on this list provide more audio prowess, but this mic is on par with the SM57 and should be considered when purchasing a mic especially since it's $79 on amazon!

No matter what mic you pick from this list, you'll be getting a wonderful mic. I personally have used all of these at some point in my life and can recommend them all.
