Today we're going to fix up my cousin's old, dusty, SLOW laptop (an HP 17-119DX). We'll talk about what makes a laptop slow, and some key upgrades that you can do that'll make it run as good as the day it was bought. Even better in fact!
Spoiler alert, we're going to be giving this old thing a deep cleaning, an SSD upgrade, an extra stick of ram to go from single to dual channel, and a fresh battery.
These same principles apply to an old slow PC too by the way (well, not the battery).
