Best Weapon for Apex Legends Beginners
3Hey everyone, my name is Ivica and thanks for joining me on this video! As you may or may not know, I’ve began playing Apex legends a couple of months ago as - you youngsters would say - complete noob. That’s a noob with a zero, not an O. In that time, I mostly died, got frustrated and felt I’m going backwards in terms of my skills.
But, even the slowest bird sometimes gets a kill or two and I managed to kind of sort of learn a thing or two about Apex Legends. Among these things is also the choice of weapons for beginners. In fact, I found a weapon I believe is the perfect choice for anyone who starts playing Apex! it might be a weird choice, but hear me out.
Let me present the EVA-8 Auto! Yes, a shotgun. Now, why this type of weapon? Several reasons. The first is that most players avoid shotguns altogether, so you won’t have any problems finding ammo. Then, EVA-8 offers solid damage, especially at close range and if you managed to do some headshots and send all of the pellets from a shell into a target. It also comes with attachment space for Optics and Shotgun bolts and its magazine cannot be upgraded, but still holds eight shells.
But all of this is secondary when you’re a beginner. The most important thing about the EVA-8 Auto is the fact that it will allow you to actually help your team out in a firefight. When you’re starting to play Apex, your aim and movement will likely suck. Many light, heavy and energy weapons will render you almost useless at medium and long distance. With EVA-8 Auto, you can actually connect with the target even if you only hit it with one of nine pellets per shell and do only 7 points of damage. But, even this is much better than missing all of your shots. You might rarely actually get the kill, but with an EVA-8 Auto you will be a working part of the team.
As you get better and your aim improves, you will move to other weapons. But, for the start of your Apex Legends adventure, I wholeheartedly suggest taking up the EVA-8 Auto shotgun.
