Time for more Stray!
After getting the Neco Corp Atomic Battery for Clementine last time, we returned to find her apartment empty. Fortunately she left a note to led us to her. It takes a while to work out and piece together but eventually it come to "I'm with Blaser at the nightclub", so we head there, skillfully avoiding security. All our friends are waiting outside, it's a popular spot, but we're soon reminded that we can't get past the Bouncer. Turns out our friends can't either hah, apparently they usually "climb in the back", sounds promising. Turns out it's somewhere we already found and we get to meet a super fancy robot called Latekilla along the way ;o Upon reaching the window we get in no problem and set out to find Clementine.
The place is loud and garish inside as you'd expect, there's a lot of different types in there doing their own thing. DJ Matcee is there like the posters mentioned, a sort of Daft Punk knockoff. We're not making much project until they mention Blazer and point in a direction. We don't find the man himself but we do find a Strange Drink and a magical lift on the bar that goes to the basement :D Down there B12 remembers his friends, drinking with them, and the world that was. Apparently the surface was unlivable and the humans lived underground, seems the Neco Corp robots regime started back then too, wow :o Back upstairs we finally work out how to go where we need: The VIP area. They denied someone called Frip access so he stole the elevator lever hah, we trade our strange Drink for it and ascend to continue the search.
After working out a short puzzle to get us across to the VIP are via lighting rigs we spot what must be Blazer leaving the room as we approach. The only other robot there is some top hat wearing Neco Corp sellout so we follow our guy instead, and find Clementine! She's tied up oddly and can't speak because, uh, some plot logic that makes rope stops speakers. She's unable to warn us that it;s a trap, we've been betrayed X_X Blazer sold us out to Neco Corp and even as we tried to process it the Sentry robots zap our cat unconscious ;'( We awake in a cage hanging over a pool, pretty damn sketchy and unhygenic but easily enough escaped by swinging it against he wall until it breaks. This place is bleak, it's a jail, and not the type that has rules or ethics. Most of the robots in the cells are dead and the only living one appears to be be tortured to oblivion. Fortunately we're able to dodge the sentries and find Clementine, all it'll take to free her is the nearby key. But what about all the others? Can we help them too??
