A classic. Thees aite. Though treble is emphasized to an unnatural degree, these are NOT absurdly bright like most of the rest in the Beyer family. One of the very few headphones that is a good choice for both music and FPS. Just don't use a bright amp with these, or you're asking for a pile of trouble. . . If you enjoy extra treble detail, you should love these. Or, if you want to experience thrilling spatial performance at a low cost. I would take these over Sundara any day, no question.

Do I like them better than M40X, A990Z or Hook-X for music? Not really. But they are the BEST one for FPS, easily. VERY crisp, clear detail, excellent imaging, and highly engaging spatial performance! But better than FD5 or FD7 for FPS..? Not so fast, buddy. Better, or as good as, K612 Pro? Questions, questions...

DT880 - Good enough to recommend. DT990/770/900/700/1990/1770, not so much.
