Beyond Good and Evil Part 5: A Dragon?
0So, we continued to search this cave to find all the cool little animals (Even the ones that will murder my face off, all in the name of Science as well as my wallet) and flora. From playing this level, I’m going to assume that most levels are going to be somewhat linear and will introduce some cool mechanics (Like the explosive flower thing and the fart boots) that will help us progress through each level. There does seem to be a little bit of backtracking but nothing as crazy of Metroid or Castlevania. The combat is relatively okay with some interesting enemies but, what I don’t really understand is that the enemies drop money. I thought the only way to make money was from taking pictures but I guess it’s better to say that it’s more efficient (you get payed more for pictures than killing an enemy). There are also crystals that can be broken that drops money and I’m wondering if they are going to appear in other levels or do they only appear in caves? Regardless of all that, we do eventually find the animals that we needed to find but, something things happen and we are faced with another boss fight which feels somewhat reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts (there was a battle with a Dragon, I think during our second visit in Land of Dragons).
