Purpose of this shite?
-------------------------------------------------------------
The entire point of uploading this RE-RENDERED exact duplicate of the formerly 26gb OG Shadowplay file is to compare the size and quality impact resulting from such a conversion. As it turns out, the exact same file, rendered via the NVENC codec, resulted in a 9gb MP4 file with an obvious, slight reduction in overall visual quality. I've included links to both the original file as processed by YouTube as well as the re-rendered file as processed by Youtube at the top of this sectioin.

No doubt, the re encoded version results in a MUCH smaller file but at the same time does also result in an overall image quality not quite as good as the original. That said? Not only does this VASTLY effect the speed at which one might upload this final version to YouTube but due to the much smaller size? The necessary processing once received by YouTube takes much less time to complete. Simple math.

Fun experiment, if nothing else.
