Bide non damaging move/action damage accumulation glitch - As seen from Brock's Onix (Generation I)
Notes: This is a glitch previously documented by Crystal_ which I named the Bide non-damaging move/action damage accumulation glitch. https://glitchcity.wiki/Bide_non-damaging_move/action_damage_accumulation_glitch
Crystal_ also have a video about it here which more thoroughly explains the glitch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVxHGyNDW4g
Recently however, the glitch has become better known after it happened on Jrose11's Gengar only challenge. Bide is meant to deal damage twice amount the damage dealt, however, Bide damage will still increase after the previous attack even if a no damage move/action was dealt on the next turn. Night Shade usually deals damage equal to the user's level, so if the glitch occurs here it can be noted more easily.

There's an interesting glitch with bide and night shade shown in jrose11's gengar only run of pokemon red/blue. Might be worth checking out and I'd be interested in seeing the behind the scenes. (night shade did 9 damage but bide ended up doing at least 29 damage)
