Three engine flaws involving Unown (Gold/Silver/Crystal)
Edit: I reuploaded this to quickly show how it affects the Pokédex.
In Gold/Silver/Crystal:
The first (hatching form inconsistency) and second one (the game doesn't update the Unown letter) in the video was found by Chaos_lord2 and a friend sent me the information and asked me to just credit them.
"TIL that at least in Crystal, if you would to hatch an Unown egg (not possible without glitches to turn an egg into an Unown egg) it will show the wrong Unown letter on the hatching screen but will hatch as the proper letter, this is because it reads DVs from battle data, but it's not actually battle data when you're not in a battle so it ends up reading junk data as DVs
If your first Unown seen was one hatched from an egg, the game will also fail to set the Unown letter that displays in the Pokédex"
The Unown on the Pokédex menu will be left as glitch Unown 0x00 regardless of the letters that appear, which in Crystal may be a copy of the previous Pokémon picture with the wrong palette.
The third one is something I knew about before but never recorded. If you encounter an Unown outside of its intended location with D0ED (encounter) locked as C9 (201; Unown's index number), the game may freeze before loading the Unown.
It works this way in Gold/Silver but doesn't occur in Crystal (although I only tested English Gold and English Crystal)
