22The game view is isometric, with scrolling in all directions and the field oriented horizontally. The gameplay is reminiscent of some previous games, but there are also some innovations, among them the use of a third button to make feints to avoid opposing scorers. With the first button when in possession of the ball you make direct passes to teammates: depending on the time of pressure you can decide the height and length of the pass itself; you can also make volley passes; when not in possession of the ball you make a slide for the purpose of stealing the ball from the opponent.
With the second button if you are far away from the opponent's goal you kick the ball long and high as if to sweep it out of the area, while when you are near the opponent's penalty area you make an angled shot at the goal; if you use that button on a high or rebounding ball you make a first shot that varies depending on the height of the ball from the ground (backhanded, semi-rebounded, first shot, elevation header).
With the third button when in possession of the ball, a feint (bicicleta, cuauhtemiña or double step) is made, making the player invulnerable to slide attacks by opponents at that moment; it should be noted that after making a feint some time is needed before a new one can be made.
Most of the time is not recommended to use it, cause it will slow you down or even worse lock you in one bad location on the field.
When you are close to the opponent's area a shot of your bench appears at the bottom with teammates cheering on the team; if you are off-center on either side at that time the bench box presents the words “centering,” thus proposing that the player make a cross into the area.
There are eight selectable teams and seven levels. Different weather situations such as rain are presented.
