Fans of the iconic Bill & Ted franchise have a reason to rejoice as Alex Winter, who played Bill in the series, teases the potential of a fourth movie. In a recent interview on The Sarah O’Connell Show, Winter revealed that the original writers, Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, are exploring ideas for a new installment.
The franchise, beginning in 1989 with “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” followed the amusing escapades of two lovable but dim-witted aspiring rock stars, Bill and Ted. Their adventures through time and space became a cult phenomenon, culminating in 2020’s “Bill & Ted Face the Music”. While this third film seemed to be the final chapter, recent developments suggest otherwise.
“We’re tinkering with a fourth movie idea that all of us like,” Winter said. The key to moving forward, he emphasized, is ensuring that the script resonates with all involved, including co-star Keanu Reeves. He stressed that the Bill & Ted movies have never been about commercial success but rather a sincere expression of their unique creativity. #BillandTed #Movies
