Ixalan is under the effects of a strong binding magic. A glyph that prevents Planeswalkers from leaving this world. Jace, Vraska, Hualti, and the Minotaur captian Angrath are all bound to Ixalan and forbidden to leave. Yet what keeps them here? The search for the Immortal Sun teaches us that this relic holds the power to escape Ixalan, but also that something is trying to keep it right where it is. We have seen this type of magic before, namely from Ugin the Spirit Dragon. Could he somehow be involved with the shaping of Ixalan and this mysterious glyph?
