5Juan Sebastian Veron, the son of a famed Estudiantes player, he was destined for greatness. In the 1990s, Veron was one of the primary attacking midfielders of his day, alongside Zinedine Zidane and Luis Figo. He will be remembered, unfortunately, on British shores, for his expensive transfers to Manchester United and Chelsea that yielded little success, but is one of the greatest Argentine players ever to have lived.
