Bioshock hacking puzzle explained

You need to connect the conduit from it’s beginning to its other end (they’re outside the square board). You do this by flipping over tiles, revealing different shapes of “pipe” and swapping them. As Bioshock remastered progresses the flow (that goes through the conduit) will steady increase and more and more broken tiles will appeal.

In Bioshock Remastered hacking can be very powerful by giving you added firepower through security cameras and turrets but also giving supplies in the vending machines and safes that you’ll otherwise miss.

Bioshock Hacking Tips:

1 – Go with the flow

Putting down new pieces is a higher priority than constructing the perfect line.

2 – Use the D-pad for moving your cursor

I find it more precise

3 – Learn to go from top to bottom and side to side

What I mean by that is, when you’re all the way left you can press left again and your cursor will be on the right side.

4 – Invest Adam in Unlocking your engineering slots and acquiring new and upgraded hack tonics

Especially later on the game they’re a must.

5 – Prioritize U-invent resources to create hack tools

Hack tools give you an instant hack. This is important because later in the game you’ll run into more and more hacks that are impossible.

Tip – Only use hack tools on vending and U-invents machines when you need to buy or invent something.

6 – Camouflage tonic

The camouflage tonic allows you to go invisible if you stand in place for a few seconds. So if you miss a hack, just don’t move and the security bots won’t see you.

Tip – using the camera will uncloak you.

Benefits of Hacking in Bioshock Remastered

1- If you hack an entire area (turrets and cameras) it will generate resources for you by killing Splicers for you when you’re doing something else. All you need to do is go back and open their loot boxes.

2 - If you invest in hacking early, by the end of the game you will have more resources than you know what to do with.
