1"1999 Mode, Part 3/13: Chapters 5—7"—This is the highest difficulty under which the game can be played. The mode is hidden by default, but appears as an option either once a player finishes the game or enters the infamous Konami Code at any point in the game (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, o, x, start). This gamechive—and the ones that preceded and follow—showcase an entire playthrough under this increased difficulty. Though collectibles are picked up along the way, not every area is explored in detail, as it's similar to a speedrun. Chapter 7: Battleship Bay
- Voxophone (17/80): Born in the River (Under a wagon in the backside area on the beach.)
- Kinetoscope (12/37): Battleship Bay (Against the wall before entering the second beachfront area.)
- Gear (14/51) (On a table in the back wash area.)
- Voxophone (18/80): Heaven (In a basket in the back wash area.)
- Gear (15/51) (Hallway before the Arcade, or its entrance, depending on decision made back at the Raffle in Chapter 3.)
- Kinetoscope (x3) (Three machines in the arcade. These were already found in earlier segments.)

- Kinetoscope (13/37): Solving the Irish Problem (Not far from the Arcade restrooms.)

- Voxophone (21/80): The Golden Path to Heaven (On a table in a room downstairs before taking the gondola to exit the area.)
