BioShock Infinite (PS3) Gamechive (Chapter 2: Welcome Center)
"Chapter 2: Welcome Center"—After a strange ritualistic "baptism," Booker finds himself in the floating sky city of Columbia. Here, there are lots of things to see and do (stores, games, culture, and more), as this area serves as the city's welcome center with a Raffle Fair underway. Booker explores this wonderfully strange vista, while contemplating his task (to find "the girl"), and soaks in the compelling sights. There's even a barbershop quartet! However, once reaching the Raffle Park area, a bulletin seems to suggest that Columbia is about to turn some unwanted attention Booker's way.
Booker finds mission-critical items and collectibles in the following order:
The Welcome Center:
- Voxophone (1/80): Love the Sinner (Under the Lady Comstock painting)
Love the Prophet, because he loves the sinner. Love the sinner, because he is you. Without the sinner, what need is there for a redeemer? Without sin, what grace has forgiveness?
New Eden Square:
- Voxophone (2/80): Undeserving (Inside Hudson's store, in the back by the safe)
And then, the archangel showed a vision: a city, lighter than air. I asked her, "Why do you show this to me, archangel? I'm not a strong man. I'm not a righteous man. I am not a holy man. And she told me the most remarkable thing: 'You're right, Prophet. But if grace is within the grasp of one such as you, how can anyone else not see it in themselves?'"
- Kinetoscope (1/37): Father Comstock's Gift of Prophecy (Next to the counter in Hudson's store)
- Kinetoscope (2/37): Beware the False Shepherd (Against the building wall next to the "False Shepherd" poster.)
- Voxophone (3/80): Everyman, All at Once (On a small table in the flower garden)
One man goes into the waters of baptism. A different man comes out, born again. But who is that man who lies submerged? Perhaps that swimmer is both sinner and saint, until he is revealed unto the eyes of man.
- Telescope (3/37) (After receiving telegram, over to the left side)
- Kinetoscope (4/37): The Envy of All His Peers (Across the way from the vigor demonstration.)
- Cast Out the Devil Game (using Bucking Bronco Vigor) = Silver Eagle Purse
- Bring Down the Sky-Line Vox Game (using Air Shotgun) = Silver Eagle Purse (20 pts), Silver Eagles (10 pts), Cigarettes (5 pts)
- High Striker Game = no prizes
- Hunt Down the Vox Game (using Air Rifle) = Silver Eagle Purse (20 pts), Silver Eagles (10 pts), Cigarettes (5 pts)
- Possession Vigor (Receive from vendor at Possession Vigor Tent.)
Path of the Scroll:
- Voxophone (4/80): For I Am Lonely, Too (On bench below statue of R. Lutece.)
Madame Lutece—I have read all your books on the sciences. Mama says, "It's not a fit occupation for a lady," but I think she's jealous of our cleverness. Is it true that only you are allowed to visit the girl in the tower? If the Lamb is lonely too, I should like to meet her, as we would have much in common. — Warmest regards, Constance.
