BioShock Walkthrough Part 10: Point Prometheus (FINAL BOSS FIGHT & ENDING)
0Jack reaches Point Prometheus, Rapture's primary scientific hub where ADAM was processed for consumption, also being the location of two facilities where human test subjects were turned into Big Daddies and Little Sisters. After briefly pursuing Fontaine through the district's batysphere station, Jack finds himself faced with a new challenge as Fontaine manages to escape into an area of Point Prometheus called Proving Ground and destroy the control mechanism for the door leading inside. With no other options, Tenenbaum guides Jack through the district in order to gradually turn him into Big Daddy so that he could lead one of the Little Sisters into the Proving Ground as a guide. To that end, Jack sprays himself with pheremones used by Big Daddies, acquires a body suit worn by certain type of Big Daddy and performs a voice cord alteration surgery on himself in order to make himself superficially resemble a real Big Daddy. Upon doing so, Jack finally summons a Little Sister who manages to open the door into Proving Ground from the other side and proceeds to lead him through the area and towards Fontaine's lair on the highest floor of Point Prometheus with Jack being contacted by Fontaine who, realizing that he is closing in on him, has decided to overdose on his massive supply of ADAM in an attempt to make himself unstoppable. Upon managing to survive the dangerous gauntlet of the remaining Splicers and automated security, Jack and Little Sister part ways with Jack receiving an ADAM extraction needle from her in order to defeat Fontaine. Now all alone, Jack takes the elevator to the top of Point Prometheus where he finds Fontaine transformed into hulking creature capable of using multitude of ADAM-based powers. In the ensuing battle, Jack manages to weaken Fontaine enough to use ADAM extraction needle in order to drain the drug from his body, weakening him in the process. However, Fontaine eventually gains an upper hand and nearly kills Jack. But, before he is able to finish him off, ex-Little Sisters rescued by Jack during his journey through Rapture enter the room through ventilation shafts and swarm weakened Fontaine, using their ADAM extractors to kill him by draining the rest of ADAM from his body.
With Fontaine dead and Rapture left without any sane individual to lead it, ex-Little Sisters offer Andrew Ryan's genetic key to Rapture to Jack who refuses it, instead opting to use a functional batysphere to transport himself and all rescued girls back to the surface, ending up adopting five of them in order to raise them as his own daughters and give them a proper life he himself never experienced due to the nature of his existence.
And that brings this walkthrough to a close, dear gamers. However, this is not the end of this series as it will be continued at a later date.
