Bioware has been recently reported to have started work on a new game in the Mass Effect franchise, a franchise that is hanging on by a thread at this point after the lackluster and universally panned Mass Effect Andromeda which was released a mere 2 years ago. Mass Effect has seen scrutiny and criticism before with the ending to Mass Effect 3 which was also universally hated.

This information also comes with the trepidation of the game being developed by the current Bioware which is not the most popular game developer out there at the moment. Will these things kill this game before its even released? Is Mass Effect finished as a series or is there still a chance that Bioware can release something truly outstanding? I have my doubts.
