Welcome to the second part of Bit. Trip Core! Today, we go through Exploration. This level is really tough, but practice makes perfect and it's useful to memorize the over-arching "pattern" in the beat as it repeats quite a bit in the level (including during the boss). And speaking of the boss...did I mention I'm utter crap at Space Invaders? This boss always gives me trouble and I don't think I've ever beat it outside of the Nether state. I kept in that game over run because I played SO well in that attempt up to that point. The winning moment was taken from an earlier run where I played horribly and had not played Core in ages (...kinda sad the skillful run was the one in which I failed...ah well).

Bit. Trip Core is pretty much an omni-directional shoot-em-up where you can't let a beat coming from one side of the screen escape to the other. The more beats you hit, the higher your power level goes (with Hyper being the standard, followed by Mega, then Super; in Super, your score continues to increase just for being in this level whether or not you hit any beats). Missing pixels lower your level, and if you miss enough, you enter the Nether level (and messing up here means game over). You control Commander Video by aiming with the directional buttons and shooting passing beats.

https://twitter.com/Capitalist111 Hi, I'm Capitalist111, but you can just call me Capitalist! I produce a wide variety of gaming content for Youtube every day. I do Let's Plays of my favorite games as well as games I feel get a bad rap or deserve more noteriety (with the occasional blind LP). No genre is off limits! You'll also find reviews, walkthroughs, quick looks at Indie games, Legend of Zelda lore, and random cool clips of whatever I might be playing at the moment. Sound good? Then stick around; you might see something you like!
