Leaving the haze of awe and amazement of Hue, I can focus much more on doing the actual puzzles and not get confused about which colours to switch to... One would think that would be the case, but alas, this video will show you that I am simply just bad xD

Other than that, we get a little bit closer to the relationship of the sweet lady and Dr. Grey, as the puzzles gets a little bit more confusing with pink :P

Hue is one of those games that defines exactly what indie games are and why they’re important to the gaming world as a whole. I’m putting Hue in the same category with brilliant indie games like Braid, Undertale, Bastion, Fez and the like, which all show exactly what indie game developers are capable of: Simple, fun and amazing mechanics, put in a wonderful world with an amazing story.

Hue’s first and foremost strength is the core mechanic, which is so simple and fun that I seriously don’t know why it haven’t been done before. Having the ability to change colours of the background makes for some easy-to-understand but hard-to-master gameplay, which is exactly why I play it. From the very first moment that I saw the development of the game, I was in love, and that love was only confirmed once it was released. If you don’t want to play this award winning game for the mechanics, play Hue for the touching story and the gorgeous world, bearing strong resemblance to Limbo and the works of Tim Burton.
