Hue, part 3.

So, I really want to finish this amazing game quickly, which is the reason for this episode being ~50 minutes long. Hopefully, I'm entertaining enough for that amount of time :p

For this particular episode though, we find out who the sweet lady telling the story really is, and sort of what happened (but not all of it!) and we explore lost ruins of an ancient, advanced but forgotten civilisation, in order to acquire the last colours for our colour ring. Yes, that's right, we're finding all the colours in this episode! :D

This also means that next episode is going to be the FINALE, but first, why don't you just sit back, relax and enjoy the fails :)

Hue is one of those games that defines exactly what indie games are and why they’re important to the gaming world as a whole. I’m putting Hue in the same category with brilliant indie games like Braid, Undertale, Bastion, Fez and the like, which all show exactly what indie game developers are capable of: Simple, fun and amazing mechanics, put in a wonderful world with an amazing story.

Hue’s first and foremost strength is the core mechanic, which is so simple and fun that I seriously don’t know why it haven’t been done before. Having the ability to change colours of the background makes for some easy-to-understand but hard-to-master gameplay, which is exactly why I play it. From the very first moment that I saw the development of the game, I was in love, and that love was only confirmed once it was released. If you don’t want to play this award winning game for the mechanics, play Hue for the touching story and the gorgeous world, bearing strong resemblance to Limbo and the works of Tim Burton.
