And here we have it, the final chapter of Aliens of Gold. Including both secret floors, because it's the final hurrah and I wanted to go out with a bang! I do like that this episode has an actual objective at the end.

So, how's the game, overall? Pretty good! Really, as a fan of Wolfenstein 3D and the like, I'm glad I finally took a good, long look at this game. Because it added a lot. There was still room for improvement (and maybe Planet Strike does just that), but this game brings so much to the table that it's a shame it go eclipsed so fast.

It's not perfect, the level design could have been better, and some more balance and attention to the difficulty curve. But beyond that, most complains I'd have would be nitpicky, given how much the game does provide. It's less "this game needs x" and more "I liked the game so much I would have liked to have seen more x". If you like Wolfenstein 3D, give this game a try! Though I recommend the Apogee Throwback Pack if you're going to buy it today.
