EMERGENCY! There is a runaway nuclear weapons truck headed for town and if it hits anything it'll explode! The only way of course to deal with such a crisis is to clear absolutely everything out of it's path by demolishing all buildings with various pieces of heavy machinery. What? You think we should just climb on board the truck and just turn it off? That's ridiculous. Sure it would be the quickest and safest way to stop such a crisis, but mowing down buildings and blowing stuff up is more fun. As a matter of fact, after the truck is out of the way, just level everything else that is still standing in the area, and you will be paid handsomely for it.

Before Rare became insanely popular for titles known as Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Conker's Bad Fur Day, there was a game known as Blast Corps. A game that would probably never make it today in it's current state because of it's lack of realism. It certainly is a very unique game as it's the only game of it's kind. It's also very fun. You must clear everything out of the truck's path with the vehicles provided to you in each stage. It's sort of an action/puzzle game. Sometimes is may not be clear right away what you need to do in order to get the truck safely across a given obstacle. If and when you figure out what you need to do, you must be skillful enough to handle the different types of vehicles provided to you. It's that simple, but not easy.

This is a great game. Turn this game up loud and piss all the neighbors off. The explosions sound excellent even by today's standards. The music is great as well. There is nothing not to like in this game. Destroy everything you see. How can anyone say that that's not fun?
