0It's weird how 1988-2000 felt like a literal eternity, but 2000-now is twice as long.
It's more BM, minus a few of the quirks of the NES version but in doing so, some of the loose gameplay you got used to was removed. This made jumping really weird for me since I'd me correcting for momentum that didn't exist. I was a huge fan of the original, but by the time this came out I gave up anything like it being released and I didn't have a GB/GBC/GBA. I might need to get back into this series in its entirety...
