Blazeon is a modest horizontal shooter by A.I and Atlus in 1992, and was also ported to the SNES/SFC the same year. Also known as "BlaZeon" and "BlaZeon: The Bio-Cyborg Challenge", the game combines simple visuals with great audio and interesting gameplay. The goal of the game is to take control of a pilot(s) of the rebel forces who are out to stop the oppressive "Imperial Earth Army" who are dominating the societies on Earth. The game plays like many other shooters, but its most distinguishing feature is that you can shoot "Tranquilanders" that neutralize certain enemy robots that can then be taken over by the player. In addition to gaining access to their primary weapon, you can also (in most cases) utilize their special weapons and protect your craft from certain doom (as when they are defeated, they explode but you eject). This is a basic video of the game in action. Enjoy.
