Robot Farewell is an interesting independent game currently in development by the small development team, "Nekomura Games", creators of such games as "ButaVX: Justice Fighter", "Violet Princess & Frogs from the Fire Lake", and more. Nekomura games specializes in cute, story-driven games, which primarily include games in the RPG, VN and Simulation genres. I can't say too much about the game right now as it is still in the works, but I was given a rare opportunity to privately play and assess the game during the early stages, and there are no official downloads for it at this time. As this is an early build, the video has been labeled as a "Test" as opposed to a game sample more representative of a finished, near finished, or ended/canceled title.

The general concept behind the game thus far is that you play the role of a half-finished robot in a mysteriously abandoned space station, and it walks around logging and hacking into various computer terminals and electronic devices trying to repair itself and dig up any information or decipher any encrypted files it finds to piece together what happened at the space station. When logged into devices, you assume the role of data and wander around labyrinthine dungeons while destroying malicious software and viruses, solving puzzles, and upgrading your abilities, which shares some similarities with Megaman Battle Network.

In this video, I simply show what the basic setup is like, navigating the ship, logging into the first dungeon, and examining various objects, which is the main flow of the game. The game is meant to have a blurry display within the ship corridors early on as your video input display is damaged and only at 25% efficiency. You can learn more about Nekomura Games at:
