Blazing Tornado has colorful graphics, over-the-top moves and a button-mashing Wrestling engine that was common for many U.S. Wrestling titles at the time.
The game features 3 button one for punching,one for kicking and a third one to run.
Throw are automatic every time the wrestlesters clash,during the lockup, players must quickly mash buttons 1, 2, 3 to perform a grapple,both Wrestler's skin tone will begin to turn red based on how quickly they mash buttons. The Wrestler to turn dark red the first wins the lockup and is then able to perform one of their grapple techniques.
When a Wrestler applies a submission hold from the lockup position, the other Wrestler can attempt to escape the submission hold by mashing buttons as quickly as possible.
The game has a uniquie move called "Sucidia",after the opponent has been thrown out of the ring (while still inside the ring)begin running towards the ring ropes facing the opposite direction of theopponent. After bouncing off the ring ropes(while still running) hold button 2.If done correctly, the Wrestler willdive out of the ring towards the outside opponent performing their"Suicida" attack.
Not every Wrestler has a "Suicida"attack.
Every characters has a signature special moves that lead almost certainly to a pinfall.
