Ichigo begins training with Jackie. This is Ichigo's first time to see a Fullbring that the wielder wears, and the difference in their two levels of power is immediately obvious. The training is succeeding in bringing out Ichigo's fighting instincts, and he finally manages to launch an attack against Jackie. Tsukishima reveals himself to Ginjo and the others. Ichigo uses his Fullbring to face off against Tsukishima. Ginjo intervenes to help Ichigo in the face of Tsukishima's fierce arracks. Ichigo wants to keep fighting, but Yukio has other ideas.
