Blender Tutorial - Rigging An Octopus Part 02 (Eyes Shape Keys)

In this blender tutorial number fourteen of the Lost in the Sea series, we will start by creating an Inverse Kinematic for the head and at around the 3:00 we begin with the creation of the eyes rig that uses Shape Keys and a Track To constraint so the eyes look in the same direction. We also create a safe area for the eyes controller to move with a Limit Location constraint.

In the 3rd part and last one, we end the creation of the Octopus rig with drivers to control the eyes. Then, we'll proceed to the animation tutorial.

This series of tutorials is about the creation of a low poly scenario that I created for a game, the scenario is called Lost In The Sea.
And I'm going to use it to explain you what you need to create a low poly scenario, like world settings, light, geometry, materials, etc.
This tutorials will teach you how to create a scenario in Blender, ready for videogames, and bring it to life.

Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions you may have, i'll answer as quickly as possible. And don't forget to like and subscribe. Thank you!
