5We went to the underwater ocean palace to stop the queen. But alas, it was het full intention to summon Lavos. The prophet who had been warning her about us turned out to be Magus all along. His plan was to take down Lavos by himself, underestimating its power. We only us left, Crono took a hit for us and perished. In out time of grief, warp gates took every other person in the room.
Lavos destroyed the magic kingdom and most of this world, destroying all magic mankind had. Leaving the enlightened ones no different than the earthbound. Now living with few people, we wake up in the surviving village. Of course, Crono is still dead. We walk up to whoever is in charge, in which then Dalton tried to start his own empire, beginning with knocking us out and imprisoning us inside the huge air-ship he had been building.
Inside, we sneak around to get our stuff back and we ended up on top of one of the wings. Dalton's golem attacked us there, but it was easily defeated for it was too afraid of heights to fight back. Dalton had taken our time machine and turned it into a fighter plan. We managed to get on top of it and defeat him once and for all. We didn't know exactly how to use it now that it has now functions and accidentally blew up his huge air-ship. Luckily, we figured things out and returned to the village. Seeing that the villagers are just fine now, we hear of a lone man standing on top of a cliff in the distance looking out to the rising sun.
We find Magus. We learn of his past. He was the young boy that had warned us someone would die. He is from the kingdom of magic originally. He was sent into the year 600 A.C after Lavos was summoned and created a bunch of warp gates through time. The three Guru's being teleported to different times as well, we knew each one of time. Melchior in the year 1000, Belthasar in the year 2300 and the old man at the end of time. We had the choice to fight him or leave him be.
Fighting him, Froggy has his one on one and kills Magus finally avenging Cyrus. He would soon be turned to human again. But we want to choose to leave him instead. In the end, his goal was always the same as ours. Defeating Lavos. He asks to join us and tells us the Guru of Time might know of a way to revive Crono.
The old Man at the End of Time noticed Magus and remembers who he was. At first he made music for the deceased Crono, but then realised his death may have been a mistake in the timeline. Possibly, using a Time Egg, we could bring Crono back to life. We talked to the Guru of knowledge in the future, he tells us we need a doll that is 1:1 matching Crono. We find one after beating the magician of the Fare in the year 1000 in a game.
Now, Belthasar gives us some tools to get up Mount Death. Dangerous Lavos spawns and harsh winds give us a challenge. But at Death Peak, we used the Time Egg. After a few minutes passed, we enter a time freeze of just before Crono died. We switch his real body with the doll and take him back to where we used the Time Egg. Finally Crono is in our party.
Now, it is time to prepare. There are many jobs to be done, and then there is the ominous floating castles that now flies over all timelines, the Black Omen. Now then, let's get busy!
