Blockout - ADG Episode 288

Today on Ancient DOS Games, Gemini's taking a look at Blockout, an action/puzzle game that's essentially a 3D form of Tetris, originally conceived by Aleksander Ustaszewski, developed through P.Z. Karen Co., and ultimately published by California Dreams in 1989.
Although turning Tetris into a 3D experience in this manner isn't quite as exciting, it definitely changes the experience and whether that's a good thing or not really comes down to the particular tastes of the person playing. The game is otherwise exactly as you would expect, but with some interesting aspects to keep in mind while playing.
