Despite finding and opening all the shortcuts in these din dang woods, we still end up turned around and completely lost. Maybe that definitely trustworthy and totally not a murdering cannibal next to those two half-eaten corpses can give us some directions. After an.. exchange, with this guy, we move on to the snakes, snakes, and more snakes region of the woods. Which is fine, since there's a lotta loot to find in this sprawling second section, where even the locals are literally full of snakes, as well as plenty of echoes from the many violent inhabitants. But despite having several close calls, the impulse to explore just a little bit more leads to a pretty big loss.
