🔥 Bloodborne - RX 6600 XT + Ryzen 9 5900X | Emulator FPS Test & Performance Benchmark | 1080p | shadPS4 | 60 FPS | Bloodborne on PC

📝 Key Notes About Running Bloodborne on shadPS4:

1️⃣ shadPS4 Emulator Setup
Bloodborne runs on the shadPS4 emulator, which is easy to set up. However, versions after v0.7.0 no longer include the PKG installer, which is required to install PS4 games. This change is due to potential legal issues with Sony.
💡 Recommended setup:
• Use the old version with PKG installer for installing games
• Use the newer version for better performance and compatibility — install both in separate folders

2️⃣ Performance Issues on This Setup
There’s a major issue where FPS drops below 60 in areas that were previously stable when VRAM usage exceeds 7GB and you teleport to another location. This feels like a memory leak — only restarting the emulator helps. If you know a better solution, I’d love to hear it.
There’s also initial stuttering during the first few minutes after each emulator launch. On its own, this isn’t a big problem, but the first issue prevents long play sessions, so you’ll often restart and hit the same stutters again.

3️⃣ How to Exit Properly
Always return to the in-game main menu before closing the emulator. Improper exits or crashes can cause audio bugs on the next launch. This is usually fixed by restarting and properly exiting the game.

4️⃣ Progress & Compatibility Notes
I’ve cleared the first bosses and explored a bit beyond. From community feedback, the game is beatable, but some issues remain. The most notable one is Lawrence and Ludwig’s second phase, which may require:
• Dropping to 30 FPS, or
• Installing the mod:

5️⃣ Lossless Scaling + Frame Generation
Enabling Frame Generation with Lossless Scaling increases GPU load, which can cause drops below 60 FPS and extra stutters. Right now, it’s not ideal — but once the emulator gets more optimized, this could be a great option for cards like the RX 6600 XT.
