📝 Key Notes:
1️ ⃣ Early Access & UE5 Performance:
Stygian: Outer Gods is built on Unreal Engine 5 and is currently in Early Access. The game features a precompiled shader cache, which significantly reduces stuttering during gameplay. Based on my testing, the game is quite demanding — especially at higher settings. Performance may improve by full release.
💡 Tip: The Global Illumination setting has the biggest impact on performance — switching from Ultra to High provides a noticeable FPS boost.

2️ ⃣ Ray Reconstruction Issues:
The “Ray Reconstruction” setting is currently not functioning correctly. Not only does it cause a performance drop, but it also introduces heavy flickering in puddle reflections.

3️ ⃣ DLSS 4 Preset K (Transformer):
I'm using nvidiaProfileInspector to force DLSS 4 (Preset K - Transformer) globally for all DLSS 3+ supported games, including this one. The visual quality with Preset K is excellent and superior to the default DLSS settings.

4️ ⃣ Frame Time Graph Inaccuracy with FG:
When Frame Generation is enabled, the frametime graph displayed by MSI Afterburner becomes inaccurate. Despite what the graph shows, the game feels much smoother than it appears. This is a known issue with FG and newer versions of DLSS.
