Board gaming can be a difficult hobby. It's pretty expensive, has a steep learning curve, and, above many issues, it can be very intimidating, especially for newer players. Even seasoned games can meet an occasional game that gives them pause, and that's what I'm here to talk about today!
Being intimidated by a game is an unfortunate, but common, reality of hobby gaming. We need to make sure to not get freaked out or shy away/give up, though! Here I talk about some of the games I've found to be very difficult to first get into, especially for newer players.
